Black-and-white Seedeater

The black-and-white seedeater (Sporophila luctuosa) is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela

 

Description:

The Black-and-white Seedeater males are  distinctive because they are black on top with white posterior underparts, while the female is brown. The bill is pale bluish gray in males, but dark in the females. 

 

Diet for Black-and-white Seedeater:

Paradise Earth Premium Finch Blend, greens and fruit. During breeding season they should be given live worms and egg food.
