The Dybowski’s Twinspot (Euschistospiza dybowskii) is a common species of estrildid finch found in Africa. It has an estimated global extent of occurrence of 450,000 km².

It is found in Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sudan and Uganda.

Breeding:

color of eggs: white They clutch two to three each year. each nest may have an average of 4- 6 eggs. The incubation period is around two weeks. The young will be independent after one month.
These birds make solid pair bonds. A few could lay eggs around 6 months old but it is better if they are around one year before they begin breeding.
The Dybowski Twinspot offspring should be taken away from parents when they are mature to prevent aggression.

Diet:
The diet of this breed calls for a few fruits(ex.melons), seeding grass, and a top-grade finch blend. It is important to furnish live food like meal worms during breeding seasons. They can also be fed sprouted or moistened, seeds or  little crickets and leafy vegetables may be provided.
